Mr. Bloch couldn't have chosen a better name for the opening track, Polysynthetic. The pointilized synthetic melodies dance across an understated drummode, and are accented by echoeing space signals. Think robot assembly line. Mentalics is a track stripped down to the most basic elements. A clear and steady bassline marches alongside carefully modulated rhythms with subtle accents. Minimal indeed.
